Abstract
The device has two measuring chambers (M1,M2) which are adjacent directly over a common partition wall that has a transducer (1) which is a part of the partition wall. The measuring chambers have a side wall oriented parallel to the partition wall. The side wall has another transducer (10,11) for detecting sound waves. The distance between a transducer upper surface associated to the former transducer and a transducer upper surface associated to the latter transducer. An independent claim is included for a method for quantitative determination of a physical property of a liquid or gaseous sample medium with a measuring cell.
