Verfahren zum Reinigen von Molkereiabwasser

The invention proposes a process for the purification of dairy waste water by anerobic transformation and separation of the resulting reaction products, said process consisting of the following stages: (a) pretreatment of the waste water with base; (b) introduction of the pretreated waste water into a fermenter, anerobic fermentation of the lactose present in the waste water into lactic acid and afterpurification of the fermentation mixture formed in the fermenter; (c) concentration of the lactate in the waste water and concentration of lactic acid and base by means of bipolar electrodialysis.
