The invention relates to a process and a device for the enzymatic synthesis of organic compounds, whereby the organic compound synthesized in a reaction chamber is separated from the enzyme or enzymes by means of a diaphragm which is selectively permeable for the organic compound. According to the invention, the organic compound is separated by a solution diffusion diaphragm containing the functional groups which have a selective interaction with the organic compound.
