The arrangement includes a light source which illuminates a room area through at least one transparent surface area. The transparent surface area is switchable in a local area between a transparent and a non-transparent condition in dependence of the place on the surface area. A detection unit is provided, which records the spatial position of the light source as well as a place to be shaded within the room area relatively to the transparent surface area. A regulation arrangement is provided, which switches a certain area of the transparent surface area into the non-transparent condition, in dependence on the position of the light source as well as of a place within the room to be shaded. USE - Especially for window blind control system. ADVANTAGE - Enables targeted shading of surface area, so that visibility is assured in remaining transparent surface area.
