The element (10) has a contact arrangement (60) arranged at a surface of a photoactive layer arrangement (5) to provide an electric contact for the layer arrangement. Another contact arrangement (20) is arranged at portions of another surface of the layer arrangement such that a light transfer between the layer arrangement and an environment of the element is carried-out at outside of the portions. The latter contact arrangement provides another electric contact for the layer arrangement and has strip conductors (22, 24, 26) diagonally running with respect to an edge of the layer arrangement. The contact arrangements are made from an electrical conductive material. The photoactive layer arrangement comprises rectangular, quadratic, triangular, equilateral triangular or hexagonal shapes.
