The invention relates to a method and a device for arranging small parts, wherein a liquid volume with an at least partially curved surface is created and a plurality of small parts to be isolated is applied to the curved part of the surface. The small parts are carried by the liquid by means of the surface tension and/or the buoyancy and move into an interim position due to the curvature of the surface. Vibration causes the small parts to be moved into an arrangement position in which they are ordered.
