Die Erfindung betrifft Membranen fuer die Haemodialyse, Haemofiltration und/oder Plasmapherese aus substituiertem oder unsubstituiertem Cellulosecarbamat mit einem Carbamat-Stickstoffgehalt im Bereich von 0,1 bis 6%. Ebenso betrifft die Erfindung ein Verfahren zur Herstellung derartiger Membranen sowie deren Verwendung zur Blutdetoxifikation im Rahmen der Ultrafiltration, der High-Flux-Dialyse, der Haemodiafiltration und der Plasmapherese des Blutes.
