the micro relay consists of a stimulation coil (1) for generating a magnetic field and one or more contact elements (2) which open or close a contact (3) under the action of the magnetic field. The coil is of conical shape. The coil is integrated into a semiconducting substrate (4) and the internal space enclosed by the coil is filled with a ferromagnetic material or a ferrite core is placed in the space enclosed by the coil. USE - for telecommunications, medicine, data processing, measurement and motor vehicles ADVANTAGE - a longer operating life and less wear are achieved than with conventional micro relays with planar coils.
