DARSTELLUNG EINES OBJEKTES MITTELS EINER DURCHSTRAHLUNG SOWIE REKONSTRUKTION UNTER VERWENDUNG VON SIMULIERTEN DURCHSTRAHLUNGSDATEN
Other Title
Computer tomography of dense industrial test items, where an object is reconstructed using appropriate scans and to speed scanning and improve imaging simulated scan data is generated prior to actual object scanning.
Abstract
WO 200231767 A UPAB: 20020618 NOVELTY - Computer tomography (CT) method for imaging an object (10) has the following steps: preparation of simulated data that represents a simulated irradiation of the object (e.g. prepared with CAD data); use of the simulated data for measurement of the image provided by irradiation of an object and use of the simulated data in producing a final object image. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is made for a CT device for generation of images of a test piece using simulated data. USE - Imaging of objects using CT, especially industrial test items of a more dense material in order to detect internal defects. ADVANTAGE - Image quality is improved and the number of image artifacts reduced by generation of simulation data prior to actual irradiation and scanning of the object using a CT scanner.
