(A1) Beschrieben wird eine Vorrichtung zur Implantation einer Prothese in einen Knochen in Art eines Handgeraetes zur manuellen oder Roboter-unterstuetzten Bedienung mit einem motorisch angetriebenen Schlagwerk, das mit einem Werkzeugfutter in Wirkverbindung steht, in das ein Werkzeug zur Extraktion von Knochenmaterial aus dem Knochen oder zur Komprimierung von Knochenmaterial innerhalb des Knochens oder die Prothese selbst loesbar fest einsetzbar ist und das das Werkzeug oder die Prothese kraftbeaufschlagt impulsartig laengs einer linearen Bewegungstrajektorie zyklisch auslenkt, einer Sensoreinheit zumindest zur Erfassung eines durch das Werkzeug oder die Prothese auf den Knochen gerichteten Kraft- und/oder Impulseintrages sowie einer Auswerte- und Steuereinheit, die auf der Grundlage des durch die Sensoreinheit erfassten Kraft- und/oder Impulseintrages sowie unter Vorgabe einer Auswertelogik das motorisch angetriebene Schlagwerk ansteuert.
