The present invention relates to a binding molecule specifically binding to human CD4 for use in the prevention, amelioration and/or treatment of at least symptom of a disease associated with inflammation of the respiratory tract and/or immunologically induced injury of the respiratory tract in a human subject, wherein the binding molecule is administered intranasally and/or via inhalation and/or systemically, as well as to pharmaceutical compositions, pulmonary drug delivery kits and pharmaceutical packages related thereto.
