The invention relates to a device to produce a liquid jet charged with an abrasive agent, comprising a mixing chamber in which the liquid jet enters through a nozzle, and a supply line via which a mixture of air and abrasive agent can be suctioned, discharging into the chamber, and a pipe downstream of the chamber for concentrating the liquid jet charged with abrasive agent. The invention is based on the task of improving such a device so as to reduce the wear caused by the abrasive agent in the mixing chamber. The invention achieves this task by the fact that the supply line has a tapered shape and discharges into an annular gap arranged coaxially to the nozzle. An advantageous variant of the invention provides for the fact that the chamber wall consists of an elastic material in the region of the first contact of the abrasive agent with the liquid jet.
