DE 2820428 B UPAB: 19930901 The time-multiplexed communications loop system consists of two loop lines lying parallel to one another and handling signals travelling in opposite directions between a heat station and out-stations. The two loop lines are independent of one another but operated on a uniform time-multiplexed frame for all transmitted and received signals. The outstations are connected to both loops. Each out-station can pass on decentral signals in the network. The out-stations and the main station contain devices for receiving and sending alarm signals respectively when the transmission path is broken.
