The invention relates to a construction component having at least one insulation layer comprising a first face and a second face, at least one heat exchanger comprising a first face and a second face, and at least one photovoltaic cell comprising a first face and a second face, wherein the first face of the heat exchanger is disposed on the second face of the insulation layer, and the first face of the photovoltaic cell is disposed on the second face of the heat exchanger, and the surface area of the photovoltaic cell facing the solar radiation is greater than or equal to the surface area of the heat exchanger facing the solar radiation, and/or the photovoltaic cell completely covers the heat exchanger.
