The invention relates to a process and a device for the tomographic measurement and digitization of bodies by means of which measuring data relating to the surface and contour of a body can be acquired independent of the complexity of the geometry and undercuts. The internal contour of a material or material mixture fully enveloping the body and formed on the surface of the body is thereby measured by means of radiation penetrating the material and acting non-destructively and by means of a local-resolution measurement of the interaction between radiation, body and the material or material mixture.
