WO2004067225 A UPAB: 20040907 NOVELTY - The arrangement has providing a thin-layer sensor (3) in the clamping region with which a positional change can be detected. The thin-layer sensor can be a capacitive sensor. The positional change can be a radial positional change. The sensor can be integrated into a clamping device, hydraulically expanding chuck, shrinkage clamping system or Morse taper shank. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - AN INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for the following: (a) a method of detecting the stress on and/or condition of a tool with thin-layer sensors.
