Abstract
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Strahlungsquelle und eine Strahlungsquelle mit zumindest einem Glas- oder Keramikelement und zumindest einem Traegerelement, wobei das Glas- oder Keramikelement und das Traegerelement innerhalb eines Verbindungsbereiches mit Metallschaum miteinander verbunden sind. Ggf. ist das Traegerelement selbst ein aus Metallschaum bestehendes Teil.

US2006141894 A UPAB: 20060814 NOVELTY - The method involves producing a metal foam by activating a foamable precursor material. A glass/ceramic unit and a carrier unit are positioned relative to one another before the activation of the material. The glass/ceramic unit and carrier unit are joined to one another by the metal foam within a joining region. The metal foam is introduced into an intermediate space between the glass/ceramic unit and the carrier unit. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a radiation source with a glass/ceramic unit. USE - Used for producing a radiation source e.g. discharge lamp and incandescent lamp, in a Braun tube of a television screen and computer monitor, and in a domestic engineering application and automotive industry. ADVANTAGE - The utilization of the metal foam simplifies the production of the radiation source, prevents failure of the joining region, lengthens the service life of the radiation source and reduces the manufacturing cost of the radiation source.
