Die Erfindung betrifft einen aktiven Kanalschalldaempfer, der mindestens einen Lautsprecher (2) mit rueckseitigem schalldichtem Gehaeuse (6), einen ersten akustischen Sensor (3) zur Erfassung der Schallfeldgroesse am Lautsprecher (2) sowie einen linearen Signalverstaerker (4) aufweist, der ausgebildet ist, die mit dem Sensor (3) erfasste Schallfeldgroesse dem Lautsprecher (2) invertiert zuzufuehren, und sich dadurch auszeichnet, dass weitere akustische Sensoren (3) zur Erfassung der Schallfeldgroesse am Lautsprecher (2) vorhanden sind, die bezueglich des Lautsprechers (2) und der Stroemungs- und Schalleinfallsrichtung (7) im Kanal (1) unterschiedlich positioniert sind, wobei die erfasste Schallfeldgroesse von dem linearen Signalverstaerker (4) dem Lautsprecher (2) invertiert zufuehrbar ist.
