Abstract

An apparatus includes a fully integrated self-contained radio device (100) including an antenna and an antenna element (108). The radio device (100) and the antenna element (108) are arranged such that a radio signal (106) emitted by the antenna (A) of the radio device (100) is amplified in at least one predefined spatial direction.
