The description refers to a gripper system for non-rigid parts, in particular for hoses, comprising at least two gripper jaws or fingers which are movable by means of a drive to grip the non-rigid parts and that can be positioned by means of a handling device. The gripper system according to the invention is characterized by the combination of the following features: - the two gripper jaws can be moved in the same way as shears about a certain point - at least one force sensor is attached to the gripper jaws to detect the gripping force - a control unit controls the drive of the gripper jaws until a specific force is attained.
