(A1) Die Erfindung betrifft ein optisches Bauteil mit einer Schicht eines fuer eine bestimmte Wellenlaenge empfindlichen Materials, in der eine ortsabhaengig unterschiedlich orientierte Doppelbrechung mittels Belichtung bei dieser Wellenlaenge derart ausgebildet ist, dass Eingangsstrahlung mit homogener Polarisation in Ausgangsstrahlung mit ortsabhaengiger Polarisation umwandelbar ist.

A location-dependent differently navigated double refraction produced by exposure to the wavelength is arranged in such a manner that input radiation with homogeneous polarization is convertible into output radiation with location-dependent polarization. The layer of the material sensitive for a certain wavelength is formed from a photo addressable material, particularly a photo addressable polymer. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for production of optical component. USE - Optical component. ADVANTAGE - The optical component has a layer of a material that is sensitive for a certain wave length. A location-dependent differently navigated double refraction produced by exposure to the wave length is arranged in such a manner, that input radiation with homogeneous polarization is convertible into output radiation with location-dependent polarization, thus ensures improved conversion efficiency.
