Abstract
Die Verbindungen der Formel (I) 1 worin R>1 = (C<1-C<3)Alkyl, R>2 = H, Methyl oder Halogen bedeuten, sowie deren Salze besitzen ausgezeichnete Wirkungen als Pflanzenwachstumsregulatoren, insbesondere in Reiskulturen.

DE 3608143 A UPAB: 19930922 1-Phenyl-imidazole-5-carboxamide derivs. of formula (I) and those of their salts utilisable for agricultural purposes are new: R1 = 1-3C alkyl; R2 = H, CH3 or halogen. USE - (I) (disclosed generically but not specifically in DE3217094) have plant growth regulant properties which are particularly intensive in rice cultures. They are particularly suitable for use as growth inhibitors in rice.
