Verfahren zur Oberflaechenmodifizierung von Polymer-Membranen

The invention relates to a method of modifying the surface of polymer membranes in order to improve their anti-fouling behaviour towards proteins. For this purpose, the polymer membranes are treated with organically modified silanes with the general formula of (I) formula 1 where X = H, alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, each having C<-1 to C<-20 , R' = Alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, each having between C<-1 and C<-20 or Y, and Y = OR, OOCR or NRR'', where R = alkyl, aryl or aralkyl, each having between C<-1 and C<-20 , and R'' = H or R, or with mixtures of this organically modified silane (I). The polymer membranes modified in this way exhibit conderably reduced transmembrane flow in comparison with that of untreated membranes after entering into contact with proteins.
