Bodengranulat zur reversiblen Speicherung von Wasser und Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung

Es wird ein poröses Bodengranulat, welches zur reversiblen Speicherung von Wasser geeignet ist, sowie ein Verfahren zu dessen Herstellung vorgeschlagen. Das Bodengranulat enthält erfindungsgemäss wenigstens einen offenporigen Schaumstoff in Form von Schaumton auf der Basis natürlicher Tonmineralien und/oder in Form eines geschäumten Polykondensationsproduktes aus polykondensierten phenylpropanoiden Alkoholen oder aus polykondensierten Polyhydroxyphenolen. Ein entsprechendes Herstellungsverfahren sieht vor, dass zur Erzeugung von Granulatpartikeln auf der Basis von Schaumton natürliche Tonmineralien gegebenenfalls vorgemischt und extrudiert werden, wonach das Extrudat granuliert und bei erhöhter Temperatur gebrannt wird, um das eingeschlossene Wasser zu verdampfen und das Granulat aufzuschäumen.; Zur Erzeugung von Partikeln aus dem geschäumten Polykondensationsprodukt werden die phenylpropanoide Alkohole oder die polykondensierten Polyhydroxyphenole in Gegenwart eines Treibmittels polykondensiert, wobei das Treibmittel aktiviert wird, wonach das Polykondensationsprodukt getrocknet und granuliert wird.

The soil granular material contains, according to the invention, at least one open-pore foam in the form of expanded clay on the basis of natural clay minerals and/or in the form of a foamed polycondensation product made of polycondensed phenylpropanoid alcohols or of polycondensed polyhydroxyphenols. A corresponding production method provides that, for generating granular particles based on expanded clay, natural clay minerals are optionally premixed and extruded, after which the extrudate is granulated and fired at elevated temperature in order to evaporate the enclosed water and foam the granular material. To generate particles from the foamed polycondensation product, the phenylpropanoid alcohols or the polycondensed polyhydroxyphenols are polycondensed in the presence of a blowing agent, wherein the blowing agent is activated, after which the polycondensation product is dried and granulated.
