The same TDMA frame is used for all messages sent and received. The stations are connected to both ring lines via interfaces. The head station and the subscriber-station interfaces contain devices to allow the messages sent via the system to be switched centrally. Each interface has a frequency-stable phase locked loop and two time frame generators. Several subscriber stations can be connected to one interface.
