Title
Verfahren und Vorrichtung zum Bestimmen der Tonalitaet eines Audiosignals
Other Title
Process and device for determining the tonality of an audio signal
Abstract
The tonality of an audio signal is determined by a process with the following steps: - blockwise frequency transformation of a digital input signal x(n) to generate a real positive-value representation X(k) of the input signal, where k is the index of a frequency line, and - determination of the tonality T of the signal component at the frequency line k in accordance with the following equation: formula 1 where f<-1 is the filter function of a first digital filter having a first differentiating characteristic, where F<-2 is the filter function of a second digital filter having a second, flat or integrating characteristic or a characteristic which is weaker than the first characteristic, and where d<-1 and d<-2 are whole-integer constants which are selected as a factor of the filter parameters in such a way that any delay in the filter is compensated for.
