The invention relates to a visual inspection device for the manual processing of fine structures on assembled printed circuit boards or printed circuit boards to be assembled for rework outside automated production and for repair. The visual inspection device is directly provided on or integrated in the manual processing tool and is simultaneously aligned with the processing workplace. The visual inspection consists of a compact unit with a lighting device, an image-recording lens and the image-recording device, and the image reproduction monitor, and of a separate signal processing device.
