Folien fuer elektrochemische Bauelemente sowie Verfahren zu deren Herstellung

Die Erfindung betrifft eine in elektrochemischen Bauelementen verwendbare, pastoese Masse, umfassend eine heterogene Mischung aus (1.) einer mindestens ein organisches Polymer, dessen Vorstufen oder dessen Praepolymere enthaltenden oder aus den genannten Bestandteilen bestehenden Matrix (A), (2.) einem elektrochemisch aktivierbaren, in der Matrix und in Wasser nicht loeslichen, anorganischen Material in Form einer Festsubstanz (B), sowie (3.) einem Material (C), das in der Lage ist, den Transport und die Speicherung von Elektrolytfluessigkeit in das bzw. in dem Bauelement zu verbessern, mit der Massgabe, dass es sich bei dem Material (C) nicht um ein Material handelt, das gleichzeitig leitfaehigkeitsverbessernde Eigenschaften besitzt, wenn die Festsubstanz (B) ein als Elektrodenmaterial geeignetes Material ist. Aus dieser Masse lassen sich Schichten (Folien) und elektrochemische Schichtverbuende fertigen, die anschliessend mit einer Elektrolytloesung, vorzugsweise von in Plastifiziermitteln fuer die Matrix (A) geloesten Elektrolyten, impraegniert werden. Auf diese Weise erhaelt man elektrochemisch aktive Bauelemente wie z. B. Batterien und Akkumulatoren.

ADVANTAGE - Using the paste avoids the drawbacks associated with the use of homogeneous constituents, i.e. materials capable of electrochemical activation that are soluble in the polymer or electrochemically active film composites with a high degree of porosity.
