Verfahren zur Ermittlung der Empfangbarkeit von Funksignalen in einem Funksystem

The invention describes a process for the determination of the sensitivity of radio signals in a radio system and a receiver for performing the measures at the receive end. The invention is of particular importance for a radio system, in particular a common-wave system. When mobile receivers receive radio stations, e.g. in a motor vehicle, the user has the wish to obtain information on the required stations which can be received in a particular area quickly and reliably. With current systems, such as the radio data signal, this is only possible to a restricted extent, i.e. for traffic announcements. On the other hand, the invention permits the detection of the stations and/or programme fields which can be received in every area or at least in small regions of the reception area serviced by radio stations and presented to the user on individual selection on a display. The user has thus the advantage of obtaining a display of the receivable programs and can switch to them quickly by sele cting the desired programme. Time-consuming searches to find the desired programme are avoided by the invention.
