Abstract
In a process for manufacturing a ceramic polymer composite sintered ceramic components are placed in a mould cavity, polymer is added to fill the cavity and the mould contents compressed. The polymer is then hardened and the product demoulded. USE - For manufacturing ceramic-polymer composite components used as e.g. piezoelectric elements. ADVANTAGE - The process is simpler and more economic than existing processes such as photolithography or etching.
