(B3) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Licht erzeugendes Wandelement, umfassend ein erstes transparentes Substrat und ein zweites transparentes Substrat, wobei beide scheibenfoermig ausgebildeten transparenten Substrate gegenueberliegend angeordnet sind und einen Hohlraum begrenzen, wobei auf dem zweiten Substrat zumindest in einem Oberflaechenbereich zumindest ein erstes Schichtsystem, umfassend eine erste elektrisch leitfaehige Schicht, gefolgt von einer Licht emittierenden Schicht und einer zweiten elektrisch leitfaehigen Schicht, abgeschieden ist und wobei zwischen der ersten elektrisch leitfaehigen Schicht und der zweiten elektrisch leitfaehigen Schicht eine erste elektrische Spannung schaltbar ist.
