DE1004050139 A UPAB: 20060510 NOVELTY - Microfluid processor, for executing PCR in a sample, comprising two high-grade steel chambers, for incubating the sample at different temperatures, having a base in which two micro-channels are arranged as reaction chambers, where each base (3a, 3b) of the chambers (2a, 2b) are independently heatable at predetermined temperature by peltier element, is new. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a procedure for executing PCR in a sample by using the above processor. USE - The microprocessor is used for amplification of DNA and/or RNA by 3-step-PCR or 2-step-PCR. Used for detecting DNA, RNA and pathogenic microorganism in samples. Used in food industry, medical technology, pharmacy, health care, environmental technology and biochemical research. (All claimed). ADVANTAGE - Cost-effective and reliable. Has improved sensitivity, accuracy, stability and flexibility.
