Abstract
WO2003099440 A UPAB: 20040120 NOVELTY - Process for transferring molecules, molecule complex or microparticle in a first flow into a second flow, which is flowing adjacent to the first flow and is in contact with the first flow in areas along an interface comprises maintaining the chemical composition in both flows, and applying an electrical field, which is directed across the flow direction and/or the flow directions of the two flows, in the contact region of the boundary layer of the two flows. USE - For the automated multi-step reaction guiding of biomolecules, molecular diagnostic applications, molecular computing, active ingredient screening and lab-on-a-chip laboratory automation (claimed) and e.g. in DNA synthesis. ADVANTAGE - The process is rapid and contamination is avoided.
