TPEG describes real-world events and situational data with their spatio-temporal scope, i.e. the geographical location and time or time period they are associated with. This document focuses on the new location referencing technique named TPEG2-ULR (Universal Location Referencing), and more specifically on the method ULR uses for map-matching linear locations. Based on a special multipath routing algorithm, robust matching in the presence of realistic deviations between producer and consumer-side maps is achieved.en004A Multipath Routing Algorithm for Encoding and Decoding Linear Locations in TPEG2-ULRstudy
