This demo showcased the satellite integration with the latest 3GPP Release 15 5G Core Network, allowing to operate the satellite backhaul network as a 5G cellular access network, and demonstrated the efficient edge content delivery via a 4G/LTE cellular access network integrated with the satellite backhaul network. The key underlying architecture concept and the Multiaccess Edge Computing (MEC) use case are elaborated. Useful over-the-air validation test results are provided.en5GsatelliteSatellite Integration into 3GPP Core Network ArchitectureMulti-access Edge ComputingOver-the-Air Demonstration004Over-the-air demonstration of satellite integration with 5G core network and multi-access edge computing use caseconference paper
