Molten ADN is dispersed in a continuous phase which is not mixable with ADN. Caused by the surface- and interfacial tension the molten droplets take on a spherical shape. Emulsions from molten ADN and different oils are investigated. The solidification of the molten droplets to spherical particles takes place during the cooling down below the m.p. of ADN. By the choice of suitable substances and optimizing the process parameters, spherical ADN particles with a mean size from 5-800 .mu.m are produced.en660Production of ammonium dinitramide (ADN) particlesHerstellung von Ammoniumdinitramid-Partikelnconference paper
