The exciting pressure fluctuations are computed in the frequency domain using harmonic CFD methods and are mapped to a structural FEM model of the considered turbine component utilizing the {Fraunhofer SCAI} software MpCCI FSIMapper. The frequency response analysis of the structure gives information about the resulting vibration amplitudes and allows realistic fatigue estimations of the flow-excited turbine component. The mapping process is designed for the special needs of applications using cyclic symmetric simulation models. The described method is applied to a two-stage axial turbine.enA Mapping Procedure for the Computation of Flow-Induced Vibrations in Turbomachinerybook article
