In the investigations presented here, near net shape forming of such a composite by powder injection molding (PIM) was attempted. The problems of and developments for tuning the process parameters of a tool steel and an iron nickel steel to each other are described. Debinding and sintering of this combination was performed on the basis of dilatometric measurements. An example of a composite PIM part is discussed.enco-sinteringcomposite partpowder injection molding620660671Composite parts by powder injection moldingconference paper
