The model addresses both scientific users as well as practitioners in engineering offices and urban administrations. A co-creation process with practitioners was used in a first project stage to evaluate the model’s practicability: PALM-4U’s flexible concept and its functionality were much appreciated. However, the practicability was hindered by the complex and heterogeneous environment that’s necessary to run the software. To enable the model’s operationalization in practice a new user-friendly graphical interface - the PALM-4U GUI - has been developed. Its functionalities and first results from practical applications are presented.enclimate changeclimate modelscloud-basedco-creationcomplex environmentscreation processproject stagesresearch and development projectsurban administrationsurban climate modelingurban climatesuser friendlygraphical user interfacesPALM-4U GUI: A cloud based user-friendly graphical user interface for the urban climate model PALM-4Uconference paper
