These results are compared to those of CO2-lasers. In deep penetration welding the welded cross-section as a function of line energy is shown for both laser systems. Furthermore, the cutting speed of stainless steel as a function of material thickness is given for pulsed and continous Nd:YAG and CO2-lasers. Finally the processing parameters in hardening 90MnV8 by CO2-and Nd:YAG-lasers are discussed at equal hardening speed.enCO2-Lasercuttingheat treatment comparisonhigh power solid state laserHitzebehandlungHochleistungsfestkörperSchneidenSchweißenVergleichwelding621Comparison of high power Nd-YAG and CO2-lasers in materials processing.Vergleich zwischen dem Hochleistungs- Nd-YAG-Laser und dem CO2-Laser in der Materialbearbeitungbook article
