In this context, state-of-the-art textile machines, in conjunction with computer-aided methods for binding and stress simulation, enable the targeted design of complex 3D structures. Carefully adapted process parameters are essential for processing ceramic fibers in order to achieve a low-damage result. Ceramic fiber preforms are produced in one step and in series. These are used for the production of ceramic high-performance composites. The potential of 3D weaving technology, which is also predestined for the implementation of load-adjusted yarn runs, is illustrated by an airfoil for gas turbines.enceramic high-performance compositesCeramic fiber preforms3D weaving technologystate-of-the-art textile machinesDDC::500 Naturwissenschaften und Mathematik::500 NaturwissenschaftenUsing 3D weaving for additive manufacturing of ceramic preformsjournal article
