In the first section comfort is discussed as one of the key enablers for a broader distribution of electromobility. As a basic building block, a surface heating system based on carbon nanotubes (CNT) is presented. This surface heating system gives an example for a modular, easy to apply technology for electromobility. Modular building blocks for battery systems in the field of electromobility are presented in the second part of this paper.
