It features a hierarchical design style, multifunctionality, and fully embedded standard tools. The prototype implementation called OASE has been realized as a set of cooperating expert systems for the design and verification of analog circuits. These subsystems have been designed with a blackboard architecture and can also be used stand-alone. The overall system can act like an automatic tool as well as a user-friendly design assistant.
