The success of the ATR processing depends to a large extent on the quality of the input SAR data. In particular, multi-aspect SAR images, which have been acquired on a path around the target, can help to improve the recognition performance. During a measurement campaign of the NATO research group SET-250 in England, Fraunhofer FHR acquired very high resolution SAR data of military objects from eight different aspect angles on an octagon. The SAR data have been collected with the airborne SAR demonstrator PAMIR-Ka.en621High resolution multi-aspect SAR imaging of military vehiclesconference paper
