This was the first time that AIMATS was used in another country. Traffic at four intersections in the metropolitan area of Paris, France, was surveyed and the results were compared to German data. Similarities and differences in the driving behavior of French and German drivers could be identified, which were quantified using the driving speeds of vehicles at intersections. The study demonstrated that AIMATS is applicable in other countries than Germany and traffic scenarios can be analyzed and compared on a transnational level.ennaturalistic driving studycritical traffic scenariosintersectionstraffic monitoringtest developmentMonitoring of French Intersection Traffic - The Application of Enhanced AIMATS-Systemsconference paper
