Wavecode modeling, range testing and analysis of six confinement thicknesses in a fixed volume warhead were investigated. The wavecode predictions of the EFP shapes agreed well with the x-ray silhouettes and recovered EFPs from the range tests. The maximum EFP temperature predictions from modeling also agreed well with the results of metallurgical analysis of the recovered EFPs.
