In our point of view, this vision on the one hand further encourages the miniaturization of devices and new design concepts. On the other hand, however, it also implies some disadvantages. In ubiquitous environments it is not really clear to the user which objects possess special capabilities. They also do not easily reveal their spectrum of functionalities. This work discusses three different approaches to interac- tion metaphors for smart environments based on scenarios.
