Influences of different parameters are investigated on both process routes - the dry laying and the wet laying process. Two different input material compositions were used for the production: a pure, 100% rCF based and a hybrid material consisting of a mixture of rCF and thermoplastic fibres. The grammage of the nonwovens was varied from 150 to 250 g/m2 and specimens were manufactured from those nonwovens via heating press and resin transfer moulding (RTM)-process. Mechanical testing was performed on those samples.encarbon fiber reinforced polymer (CFRP)recyclingnonwovenswet layingdry layingNonwovens from recycled carbon fibres - comparison of processing technologiesjournal article
