Innovation varies within products and services as well as between different branches and contexts. In these contexts different models of knowledge creation, transfer and use occur as well as specific kinds of innovation. The paper gives a short overview on knowledge management approaches and presents examples of measures for innovation performance as well as for intellectual capital.
