For this purpose the heat and mass transport equation coupled with a reaction kinetic involving the strong non-linear Arrhenius-term of the chemical reaction rate constant must be solved. Because of the symmetry the 3-dimensional problem could be simplified to one dimension. Here the numerical procedure for solving these two coupled differential equations with 1-dimensional Green`s functions is described. With this model parameter studies could be performed to investigate the influence of the different parameters. As a simple model the combustion of an energetic material with a 1st order chemical reaction is presented. A first example of a study varying the reaction kinetic and heat of reaction influencing the burning rate is shown.enHot-spot modelling of propellant regressionconference paper
